The Tanach (also called Tanakh or Tenakh) is the Sacred Text used in the Jewish religion. Its name derives from a Hebrew acronym formed by the initials of the three subdivisions of the book: Torah (teaching, known by Christians as the Pentateuch or the Five Books of Moses); Nevi'im (Prophets) and Ketuvim (Writings). One of the differences between the Tanach and the Christian Old Testament is the fact that some books divided in two or more parts in the Christian versions, in the Tanach are integrated in one single book; for example, all the books of the Prophets (Hosea, Joel, Amos, and so on) appear as chapters of a single book called Nevi'im (Prophets). Due to its historical interest, this is a book that must be in the library of every person interested in the study of the Bible. Now you can own it as a part of BibleMax software.
