This app is a specific edition of the Beyond the Unknown: A Matter of Time game. This edition provides you with the storyline and puzzles from the aforementioned game along with a strategy guide, screensavers, concept art, and much more. You can choose from various gameplay modes, create multiple player profiles, and much more.
The first time I launched the game on my Mac it displayed an intro movie that presented the plot (this video is shown each time you launch the app, and/but you can skip it). Once the playback was finished, I was able to create a player profile and configure the game options (toggle fullscreen or windowed mode, adjust sound volume, etc.).
I personally enjoyed playing this game mostly because of its catchy storyline. Plus, the challenges are very different one from another.
Another good aspect about this app was the fact that it offered quality screensavers and wallpapers which were drawn by the graphic designers who worked on the game.
In my opinion, it's worth buying this game as long as you're a fan of playing hidden objects games. Beyond the Unknown: A Matter of Time Collector's Edition is fun and addictive, offers a helpful strategy guide, and comes with an adequate price.
