With BeCyPDFMetaEdit, you can edit any of the metadata embedded in a PDF document. Besides, you can add information that is not already available in the original file, such as new keywords, bookmarks, or page labels. You can also customize the transition between pages when using the PDF document as a slide show.
When opening a PDF document with BeCyPDFMetaEdit you will be shown all the existing metadata. Except for the text itself, you will be able to add, delete, and edit any metadata information contained in the PDF file. You will not need to have either Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader installed to make any of these changes. Basic metadata includes the title, author, and subject of the document, as well as keywords and the different creation and modification dates. Note that if any XMP (Extensible Metadata Platform) metadata exists in the document you are recommended to delete it when saving your own changes. You can also personalize the viewing preferences, the page labels, the bookmarks, and the security settings (provided you know the original password).
If the PDF file is used as a slide show, you can add up to 11 different transition effects in between slides. You can also customize each of these effects and set the display/effect duration individually.
