Bear is more than just a text editor for Mac. With its help, you can easily organize your notes and to-do lists, manage diary entries, write your own prose, and so much more.
The program is nicely-designed and very intuitive. You can sort the stored items by attaching descriptive tags (for example work, personal, birthdays, dairy, etc.) and use the integrated search tool to immediately find the to-do list or note you need.
Furthermore, the utility enables you to create various types of lists (with bullets, to-do squares or numbers), change font style, and attach documents to your notes. You can also define global hotkeys for immediately displaying the main window of the program and for creating a new note.
Sadly, some features, like the ability to sync or export notes, cannot be used unless to you make an in-app purchase to subscribe to their services (for a month or year). Still, the prices are affordable and definitely worth it if you require the features in question.
To conclude, Bear is a nice note-taking tool for Mac. It's easy-to-use, looks and works great, and offers you many useful advantages.
