Barnyard Mahjong Free is a lovely mahjong game in which you need to match identical tiles in order to make them disappear from the board. The objective of the game is to clear the board in order to get to the next level. However, for the tiles to be eligible they should be open, which means that they need to have at least one free side and no tile on top of them. The tiles include farm animals like pigs, cows, hens, etc, and also all kinds of vegetables and other farm objects. There are also different cats and dogs, and they don't need to be identical to match them, so you can match any cat with any cat, for example.
The game is timed and for every match you create, you are given points. Moreover, when you click on the tiles, they produce the sound the animal makes. The game offers several help options. If you don't have any more possible moves, you can rearrange the board. You can also undo your last move and ask for hint, in case you cannot find a match. The game also includes two modes: Chicken Comp and Pig Pen, and I think the only difference is the background and the layouts. Sadly, you cannot select which layout you wish to play or customize the tile set. The game offers lovely graphics, nice background sounds, but no music while you play the games.
All in all, if you are looking for a nice mahjong game for your kids, Barnyard Mahjong Free may be an excellent choice.
