Banshee Screamer is a simple digital clock for your desktop that allows you to set multiple alarms. You can drag the clock all around the screen and minimize it to tray whenever you don't need it. The clock is simple and it is available in three sizes. It offers a couple of skins, but they are not really attractive. Fortunately, you can download more from Beatnik and QuickClock sites. The time can be shown in 12 or 24hs format and it can be synchronized with any internet time server you want. The alarms can be set at any time on any day of the week and you can write a reminder text to be displayed. However, the program doesn't allow you to program alarms on certain dates, just weekly or daily alarms. Among the actions for the alarms, you can set the program to not play play a sound, use standard alarm beep, play a CD, an mp3 or wave file, execute a program, document, and shut down your computer.
The user interface is really simple and intuitive and allows you to customize the language including English, French, German, Greek, Spanish, to name but a few.
In short, Banshee Screamer is a simple application which is not very attractive, but may work for you.
