Backup Scheduler for Time Machine is a macOS application that allows users to control when their data is backed up. It provides options for backup time intervals ranging from 10 minutes to one week, as well as the ability to backup when the computer is idle. The app helper is available for free from the website to make backups start automatically and the app can be set to start automatically. Dock and menu bar icons can be hidden and the app only schedules backups, with everything else done by the system.
