Babysitter is a small tool developed by Robert Benjamin. It was developed specially for babysitters to help them better manage their job. It can also be used by nurseries and any other organizations that deals with kids and work in shifts. The program is far more helpful in this regard than Excel as it provides a simple interface to put data in a well-organized form, which includes dedicated fields for names of kids and their parents, date of the shift, address details and phone numbers. It can also store the shift duration and the time of the next shift. In addition, you can also add any notices or comments you want.
The program keeps history of all your previous shifts, and they can be easily viewed using the "next" and "back" navigation arrows. It can also provide nice charts for estimating statistics.
The search functionality is very helpful when the application is loaded with many entries. It allows you to search within all recorded data in all fields. Entries can be ordered alphabetically or according to the date of insertion.
One of the missing functions in the program is an alarm or, in fact, any reminding functions that may be needed by users. The program doesn't provide any financial or billing management either; however, it has an integrated calculator that could be useful at times.
