The program comes with most of the features you can find in other modern media players. It has a straightforward and minimalistic interface with the usual playback buttons. However, there are many more features available on the menu. Luckily, there is the possibility of listening to high-quality audio, as you can pick various configurations, including 7.1 surrounds. Also, you can select any of multiple audio visualizations. Similarly, the player allows customizing the way subtitles are shown. Unfortunately, though, it does not provide many ways to configure video image, except aspect ratio.

In general, AVS Media Player is definitely not as feature-rich as other similar tools out there. However, it can certainly satisfy the basic needs of undemanding users. The product can be used without spending a dime but it shows ads for other software. If you want to register it, you have to purchase a software bundle.
