Storage Manager is a utility that you can use to work with Avid hard drives in your storage subsystem. Using Storage Manager, you can do the following:
- Identify Avid hard drives.
- Spin down Avid hard drives (SCSI and Fibre Channel only).
- Report and share test results by generating log files and sending them by e-mail to recipients that you specify.
- Update Avid hard drive firmware.
