In order to get comfortable with the program before trading for real money, Ava FX grants you a free demo with a $100,000 practice account. You will be able to look at Ava FX resources, read their daily commentaries, and then sign up for a real account.

Every time you use the program, it will connect to the Ava FX server and download the proper updates.
Then, you can view the stock values, buy stock or sell stock. You can compare the values in different markets, and take your decisions from that data.
You can also use AvaTrader from a Java application in Ava FX site, that will have the same features than the downloaded program. Your username and password will be the same.
