AV Video Morpher is definitely very versatile. It’s an all-in-one application that supports movie and audio playback, audio capture, DVD conversion, video editing, disc burning and subtitle editing. In this regard, one of its most appreciated features is probably that it allows morphing a movie by adding effects in real time. The tool’s interface is very similar to those of other video editors. However, in my opinion, it isn’t very attractive. Moreover, the layout of some of its graphical elements may lead to confusion.
Fortunately, AV Video Morpher supports a wide array of both audio and video formats. It can also capture audio from a variety of sources and take snapshots of your favorite video frames. Likewise, it can also rip video discs and convert between video formats. Reversely, it can burn movies and create covers for your discs. Moreover, the application lets you apply multiple effects to your video and audio files.
The tool has various features that are hardly found in other similar software. Some of them allow you to add subtitles or dub films in other languages. The subtitle editor supports adding text on the fly or import it from two different formats (AVT and SRT). Also, with a combination of a voice remover and a dubber you can easily substitute the original language in a movie.
All in all, the most valuable quality of AV Video Morpher is its versatility; its weakest point is the design of its graphical user interface. Luckily, the free version of this application has very few limitations, which allows you to benefit from its unique features.
