Autodesk Navisworks Freedom is a program that allows you to combine design data created in applications such as AutoCAD and Revit with models created by other design tools. It also allows you to view all simulations and output saved in NWD format. You can create compressed, secure and streamable project review files in the NWD format.

1. Grids and Levels
-The introduction of support for Grids and Levels within Autodesk Navisworks brings you powerful tools for improved location awareness within the model and project management.
-Display a grid system for each model, so when you have multiple Revit files within the same model, you can select which Revit grid system to use.
-Gridlines will automatically update to reflect your current camera position.
-Use the Grid Location option to show your current location in the model.
-Ability to fix the grid to a specific level.
-Show grid references and levels by hovering your cursor over a grid intersection.
-Change the color of the grid-lines, set the font size for grid references, and display hidden grid-lines.

-Display your project costs during simulation.
3. Miscellaneous Enhancements
-View and access hyperlinks that you published to 2D (or multi-sheet) DWF within Autodesk Navisworks.
-Sectioning tools are available in Autodesk Navisworks Freedom 2013.
