Aura Video Editor is a very complete and easy-to-use video editor. This application serves a variety of different purposes. You can use it to create a video slideshow of pictures, or create a video file to share with other users. You can also use it to trim or crop your video files.
The application is incredibly easy to use. When you first launch it, you will notice three main areas. The bottom area contains five different timelines. You can drag videos to most of those timelines to add content. For example, in my testing, I dragged and dropped a sample video to the main video timeline, which started the process. Then, I dragged video effects from the left part of the screen to the video effects timeline, which modified the main video with the effect that I chose. Using the other timelines, you can add video overlay, a different audio mix and even an SRT subtitle file to your video. At the top-right part of the screen, there is the video player that you can use to preview the whole process, including the transition and video effects and your subtitles.
I find that dragging and dropping and the time line are an excellent combination. It is a great way to use the application. I am no expert in video creation or edition, but I was able to create good-looking videos using this tool.
