Aukun Blu-Ray Ripper 1.0

Aukun Blu-Ray Ripper is a Blu-ray and DVD ripper for the Mac. It allows you to convert your DVD or BR movies into a variety of formats, including AVI, WMV, DivX, XviD, ASF, 3GP, H.264, MOV, and MKV. There is also a number of conversion profiles for different devices, including Apple devices, gaming consoles, and mobile phones.

This app lets you rip both Blu-rays and DVDs, and the process is the same for both. First, you load the movie, and the list of titles will be displayed. You need to select those that you want to convert, and select the audio language and subtitle track that you want to use. The subtitles will be hard-coded onto the image. After you have done that, you can click on "Edit" to use the video editor that lets you trim and crop your images and touch up the quality or on "Profile" to select one of the available formats or conversion profiles.

Aukun Blu-Ray Ripper lets you open IFO files as well. The app has a good interface, it didn't have any problems loading my movies and the video editor worked like a charm. The quality of the converted files is very good.

As I always say, you should try these apps yourself with your movies before purchasing. Some can't decrypt movies well enough. I couldn't test that, but you should.
