AudibleManager is managing software created by Audible Inc., an online audio bookstore, part of the Amazon family. At Audible web site, you can search for audio books, buy them, and have them downloaded into your computer. After that, you can upload them into different mobile devices, just as you would with any other audio file. Therefore, Audible Inc. launched this program as a download manager specifically designed to suit your Audible audiobooks. The program is available for both Mac and Windows - the former will help you upload your books to your iPod and iPhone, while the latter can be used in both your PC and in a variety of portable devices (MP3 players, mobile phones, etc.). This review refers to the PC version.
When you first install it, you will notice a color scheme that is not very soothing, which fortunately you can change; from here, you can select the mobile device you want to connect to. Once your mobile device is linked to AudibleManager, you can go into the application, where you can organize your books into playlists or libraries, and upload them into the different devices you may have.
Therefore, the application does exactly what it was designed to do. However, it is coincidentally similar to other known applications in many aspects (such as iTunes), and it does not offer anything new.
