Attribute Manager is a file attribute managing program allowing you to change any file property. It has an option for recursively going through all files in the selected folders and it works really fast. What used to be painstaking work becomes a breeze with the help of this utility.
Besides the usual archive or read-only attributes, you can change the date/time properties or even encrypt, compress files, set them as temporary, offline, etc.
The icons from the toolbar aren’t all intuitive but the offered tool-tips are explicit so you easily understand what is going on.
Incrementing or decrementing the date/time of your files comes handy if you need to relatively adjust such properties.
With the exception of setting files as compressed or encrypted, all the other attributes are changed very fast, even on a big number of objects.
The trial version of the application expires in 10 days, enough time to decide if it’s worth buying or not.
In conclusion, if you often need to change the attributes of a large number of files, this program is worth the investment because it will save you a lot of time.
