Asian Riddles is a puzzle game for Mac that gives you access to a wide range of nonograms (picture puzzles). The application provides you with a comprehensive help guide, brings you various game options, and comes with nice graphics and background music.
Your goal is to mark the cells of the board in such way that they obey the column and line indications and reveal the hidden image. The level is completed once the full picture is uncovered (you win and you can proceed to the next level) or you make more than two mistakes or reveal two empty squares (you lose and need to retry the mission).
The application doesn't provide you with gameplay hints or an undo option. In my opinion, the aforementioned aspects aren't necessarily flaws - it's what makes this game even more challenging and addictive than it already is.
The one thing that bothered me while testing the app was that you need to make in-app purchases in order to unlock levels. Nevertheless, the price you need to pay to do so is quite cheap (under 5 US dollars).
To summarize, Asian Riddles is a fun and addictive game that can keep you in front of your Mac for hours. Hence, it's definitely worth installing this application on your computer as long as you're into this type of puzzle games.
