Artpip can turn your desktop into an art gallery by automatically displaying high-definition pictures. The application has a minimalistic interface, which you seldom need to use, as it can do most of its work without your intervention. Thus, the tool runs almost unnoticeably on the menu bar; however, you can click on its icon there to customize a few parameters.
The tool supports two modes. By default, it changes your wallpaper’s contents every day using a list of images selected by specialists. In this mode, you are not allowed to make any changes to the wallpapers from inside the application. So, if you want to be in control, you can opt for the custom mode. This way, it is possible to choose your own collection as well as use a different swap frequency. Likewise, the tool allows you to adjust such parameters as dim, color, and blur.
All in all, Artpip is not one of those applications you cannot live without; however, it certainly brings art to your desktop and makes your user experience more enjoyable. From the more practical point of view, it has the advantage of allowing to order reproductions of your favorite pictures. Luckily, this product can be used for free.
