ARMA Tactics is an entry in the popular ARMA series that brings a new twist to the franchise: turn-based strategy. Guide a Special Forces team to victory in a series of deadly missions.
Unlike the previous instalments in the series, which focused on real-time combat, ARMA Tactics is a game of turn-based strategy. Your job is to control all four members of a Special Forces team, assigning a strategy to each soldier. If you make the right choices, your characters will overcome their foes and triumph. Your terrorist opponents are programmed to be cunning, so you will need to constantly improve your technique to proceed.
The missions in ARMA Tactics form an overall storyline, but individual objectives are randomised, adding variety to the proceedings. It is down to the player's individual choice whether they playing style prioritises stealth and subterfuge, or direct action; generally speaking, a combination of both strategies will be the best bet. Once you succeed, you will be given the opportunity to create missions of your own.
