Aqua Mines is a simple minesweeper game in which you must find the hidden mines by following the numbers you reveal, which indicate the number of adjacent mines. To reveal a space you use the left mouse button, and to mark a mine you use the right mouse button. You win the game when you reveal all the spaces and when you mark all the mines successfully. If you accidentally reveal a mine, the game is instantly over and you will have to start a new one. As you play, the game will tell you the progress percentage.
The game includes three difficulty levels which vary in the size of the board and number of mines hidden. The easy mode has an 8x8 board, medium a 16x16 board, and hard has a 16x30 board. However, if you want, you can completely customize your game to your liking selecting the desired board size (a number of columns and rows), and a number of mines. Sadly, the game features very simple graphics, no sounds or music.
In short, if you are looking for a simple but challenging game to pass the time, you may choose Aqua Mines.
