App Factory is a utility designed for Mac users who wish to easily turn scripts into full programs. The application features an intuitive interface, supports drag-and-drop actions, and provides you with easy-to-configure output settings.
All you need to do is to import your script file, drag-and-drop an image file to set it as an app icon, and click the "Create App" button from the bottom side of the interface. The program will immediately generate the app you need.
The imported file should meet some requirements though. For starters, the script files must contain hashbangs at the top, like #!/bin/sh or #!/usr/bin/python. Furthermore, script files must be at least 28 bytes in size otherwise the program won't generate any application files.
In my testing, the utility immediately converted the imported script into an application. Also, the app preserved the quality of loaded image once it was saved as an icon for the generated tool.
All in all, App Factory proves to be a reliable solution for converting scripts into full programs. Plus, it comes with a price tag. So, it's definitely worth giving it a try.
