Apowersoft Mac Screen Recorder is exactly what its name suggests: a program for capturing your desktop activity. With its help, you can easily create video tutorials for your apps, capture game walkthroughs, and many others.
Besides helping you record your screen activity, this application also enables you to convert your videos between multiple formats, burn your clips to DVDs, and share homemade movies directly from its interface.
The video recorder worked perfectly in my testing. It offered me quality results and was very simple to configure. Furthermore, the app features a menu in your status bar from where you can immediately select the option to begin a video recording or access the Options window.
A disadvantage is that the program doesn't provide you with any video editing options (the only editing option is for merging all of the imported clips from the Converter window into a single file). Other video recorders allow you to trim clips, rotate them, attach annotations, etc.
Another thing that bothered me was that the built-in converter didn't let me choose individual output profiles when batch converting clips.
In my opinion, you should try a different video recorder. There are dozens of other Mac apps that provide you with quality video recordings, feature multiple editing options, and come with reasonable prices.
