Apache Protect is a graphical user interface (GUI) application that allows users to configure and set up the built-in basic authentication and access control features of their local Apache web server on Mac OS X. This tool makes the process of setting up user and group files, protecting directories with passwords, and setting access control much easier and faster than manually entering commands into the terminal.
