AnyMP4 Blu-ray Player can play many types of media files; however, it has been specifically designed to play Blu-ray discs. This is an obvious advantage if you consider the high prices physical Blu-ray players are sold at. The application has a nice and intuitive interface characterized by its sleek design.

The program allows you to play not only Blu-ray discs, but also Blu-ray folders and disc images. Fortunately, you can use it to watch this type of media independently of its region code. As to standard files, it can read a long list of formats, including MKV, AVI, FLV, RMVB, MP4, MPG, WMV and MOV. Moreover, this program can handle high-definition movies without any problem. I regret saying, though, that it can’t upscale low-resolution video.

All in all, AnyMP4 Blu-ray Player does its job quite decently. It’s an excellent substitute for costly Blu-ray playing hardware. Unfortunately, it had some problems to play burned discs. Moreover, among many other similar programs, this one may go unnoticed, because it doesn’t have as many features as they do. For example, it doesn’t allow you to connect to the Internet to find more information about the disc being played.
