Angry Birds 2 is an action puzzle game that follows the style of previous incarnations of the popular franchise. In each level, you'll pop pigs in different structures by launching your bird from the top of a building. Depending on the level, you can choose from characters such as the wacky Owl and the fearless Raptor. There are also new levels, which are more challenging than the original.

The storyline and gameplay are the same as the original Angry Birds, although the graphics and sound effects are updated and the life system has been simplified. New characters have been introduced, such as Silver and Gold, based on the Angry Animals Toons series. The new game also features the introduction of new species like the cyborg bird, 'The Cockroach', and a giant worm, called a pygmy pig.

The gameplay is similar to the original, but with more advanced challenges. There's still no way to eliminate larger pigs with one hit. To beat these pigs, you have to use more creative methods, including dropping bombs, throwing boulders, and even letting them fall off a platform. The best way to kill a pig is to let them fall from a high platform. The game also includes a multiplayer mode. In this mode, you'll face other players from around the world, and can try your luck in the arena. To win, you must first complete 25 levels and reach star rank 8.
