Alien Shooter 2 highlights arcade action with RPG elements while adding vast improvements from the last game. The game takes place in the year 2030. M.A.G.M.A. Energy Corporation sends its own army for purging their infested facility while rescuing any survivors and retrieving confidential information. Players are tasked to complete objectives, at the same time, survive from the horde of aliens. They can also experience an immersive plot with branching choices to pick while meeting various NPCs. They can collect more than 50 weapons and 20 gadgets to survive vicious waves of mutants. Players can ride different types of vehicles to mow down rushing enemies. There are also additional quests to conquer and clear, perfect for every completionist. Players can try Campaign mode, Survival mode, and Network game mode for replayability. It mainly features up to 10,00 monsters spawning in every map with 100 monsters simultaneously appearing on the screen. Players can expect relentless waves of monsters and aliens assaulting them at the same time. Some of the improvements implemented in this game include dynamic effects, music and sound effects. Each area has weather effects like fog, rain and even water. The RPG elements that are smoothly integrated are abilities and upgrades for additional diversity of gameplay other sticking to a plain shooter genre.
