AlexTV Media Engine is a program that will let you watch online TV channels.
It will also allow you to tune in radio stations that broadcast through the Internet, or view movies and videos shared with P2P clients or posted on YouTube or other portals, like sevenload.com, vipshare.org, banana6.com, or video.google.com.
The program contains several messages written in Portuguese. Most of the available TV channels and radio stations are from Brazil, or Yugoslavia. Most of the movies offered are not in English, or subtitled. It was very hard to find channels that do work with this program. The FM tuner, however, worked flawlessly.
The program includes some extras, that will let you chat with other users, play the Pacman game, use CineTurbo (a Brazilian film site), open GTalk, YouTube or view a TV Guide. It also has a module that will let you use the program to shut down the computer after some minutes of inactivity.
The program includes many features, but most of them don´t work properly, or are not fully translated.
