Album Cover Art Downloader is a program for downloading CD disc covers from several musical web sites.
For users with already downloaded music in the local disk drive, they just set the desired folder and the application will automatically display all the covers for the contained CD albums, taken from the already downloaded information. Every cover can be double-clicked and all the CD tracks information for that album appear on the appilcation window.
Beside the local information, for missing cover pictures the program enables to search the Internet to look for available images on the usual music stores or pages, such as Amazon, Yahoo! Images, Wal-Mart or Buy.com.
Same search can be performed for existing covers in the user disk drive, just to look for alternative editions covers.
The found cover images are displayed on the right side window and then the user can select the one to be set as the definitive cover in the downloaded album.
The application is also useful for covers to be embedded in MP3 files for being displayed in portable music players.
