Aiseesoft DVD Ripper for Mac 7.1.02

Aiseesoft DVD Ripper for Mac is a commercial DVD ripper. It can be used to convert your DVD movies into several different formats. Like many other rippers, this one comes with conversion profiles for devices like the iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, AppleTV, Wii, Zune, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Playstation Portable, among others. The output format support is very good. All the most popular formats are supported.

Graphically, the app isn't really anything to write home about. It has the same look that many Windows converters have. It still remains functional, with a video player, a video editor and the configuration options at the bottom. You can select the audio and subtitle tracks that you want to use for your videos. And you can choose a profile for a specific device, or simply select a format and change the conversion settings to match your needs.

The video editor allows you to trim and crop your videos, and to adjust their brightness and contrast.

In my testing, I loaded a sample DVD and selected only one of the DVD titles for conversion. Then I proceeded to trim the title to a 1-minute clip for testing purposes. I selected English subtitles and started the conversion process. Everything was quick, and the resulting file looked well. The only problem I encountered was with subtitles, they just didn't look good. They looked a bit transparent.
