Aimersoft Video Converter for Mac is a full-featured converter that can open pretty much any video and audio file and convert it to a variety of formats, including MOV, M4V, MP4, WMV, ASF, MKV, AVI, FLV, F4V, TS, TRP, MPEG-1 and 2, VOB 3GP, 3G2 and SWF.
This converter features a much more polished user interface in comparison with other converters by Aimersoft. It has a bigger video player on the right and a space for your conversion queue on the left. Items on your queue have a snapshot so that you can recognize them easily. To change the format, you simply click on the icon on the right part of each item, which will bring a pop-up window with the conversion settings.
There is a complete video editor that you can call up from the menubar. It allows you to trim and crop your videos and to add effects to them. The whole window flips into the editor when you activate it, which is very nice.
In my testing, I was able to convert MKV and DivX files with no problems whatsoever. The conversion speed was on par with other similar converters and the quality was great.
