Advanced Word to Pdf Converter Free is a simple little tool that lets you convert Word documents and text files to PDFs. It lets you input DOC, DOCX, DOCM, RTF, and TXT files and output PDF documents. Unfortunately, you cannot customize in any way the parameters of the output file. Only the registered version of this application lets you configure output settings.
Another disadvantage of this tool is the fact that it seems to require MS Office installed on your system in order to successfully perform the conversions. I gave it a run on a system with no MS Office installed and it failed to convert the files, warning me that I have to install MS Office 2013.
Furthermore, the quality of the output is far from satisfactory when it comes to documents that contain graphics, especially since this “free” version doesn't even allow tweaking any output parameter.
As you can see, there are quite a few things to criticize about this tool. It may be free, but I still don't think it's worth using. Except for the batch conversion support, there's no other remarkable benefit provided by it.
