Acoustica CD/DVD Label Maker is a graphics editing tool to create disc labels. It is a very straightforward application, but it does have several advanced features. It has a predefined list of templates that you can use for printing the labels for your CDs and DVDs. The latest version (3.3) supports Lightscribe burning on one or several printers at once. It also supports the Lightscribe printers present in DVD burners. Using the application is quite easy. The graphical user interface is divided into two panes. The left one shows the image templates and the right one shows a preview of how your labels will look. The left pane is divided into tabs as well, with categories for your templates. So is the right one, which allows you to access the disc, front, inside, and back previews of your templates. When you click on a template on the left part of the window, the image that you selected will be applied to your preview on the right. You can either start printing one of those or customize it a bit. There are three basic things that you can do: add text, add a shape, or add an image. The one feature that I liked the most was the text support. By simply inserting a text field into the preview, you are able to write text and format it in many ways. You can also change its shape and alignment. I like that you can change the text so it takes a round form, which is what commercial discs do sometimes for listing song contents. All in all, Acoustica CD/DVD Label maker brings lots of templates to use and it also allows you to create your own templates and add text to them. It is easy to use and it produces high quality prints.
