Academy of magic is a puzzle/word game. Its goal is to find the longest possible words on a tile board to get points. As you play you will get the chance to use limited spells (power ups) to help you make longer words and increase your "magic level" and find some additional obstacles like black obsidian tiles that absorb your powers and destroy you.
It features 3 play modes: Strategy , Action and Time Trial (limited time), hand drawn graphics (something I appreciate a lot), detailed statistics and live high scores for worldwide competition.
Academy of magic is a relaxing game, it will test your vocabulary while having a nice time. If you are into scrabble, you will probably enjoy it. Its interface is well developed with good graphics and sound effects and a decent help to learn how to play it.
