ABViewer is a file viewer, editor and convertor. This compact all-in-one software is really versatile when it comes to designing or engineering.
The program has a lot of features like measurement tools, working with layers, drawing or snapping. ABViewer allows you to edit CAD files with the help of all the professional tools that are normally found in more complex editors used for design work, so this makes it a more light solution, which has less system requirements.
All commands are in the upper side of the main window, for an easy access and swap between the viewer and the editor feature. You can copy, save, transfer or print parts of your drawings. The conversion feature allows you copy and export your files in the format you need, batch conversion or print and with the help of a special feature called Clip rectangle you can convert a selected part of your drawing.
The program has a short loading time, which is very helpful with TIFF files that usually take very long to load. The CAD file management feature helps you work faster and more organized, by quick switching between files and layers or file and text hiding in just one click.

- Upgraded tool to measure the distance on a 3D model. Using it, you can get not only the distance between two points and height between two parallel surfaces, but also the distance between two circle centers or between two parallel edges.
- Saving of measurements performed on 3D models. ABViewer 14.1 enables to save all the measurements you made in a separate file and load them when necessary. Thus, you can save time and don’t measure the same 3D model twice.
- Saving of 3D section views. Now you can create a section view of your 3D model and save it as a new IGES, STEP, STL, OBJ or BREP file.
- Highlighting of 3D model edges created by a section plane. You can set the highlight color.
- Improved display of DWG and DXF files.
- New interface of G-code generation from DWG and DXF files. In the new version it is integrated into the main ABViewer window.
- Vectorization of raster images. Apart from PDF to DWG or DXF conversion, it is possible to convert data from raster files like JPG, PNG, BMP to editable entities.
