ABC Color with Me 1.35

ABC Color with Me can entertain small children for entire hours. It lets them color pictures on the computer while listening to cheerful music.

Considering its short description, I expected the program to be a stand-alone coloring book that includes its own images and painting tools. In fact, it offers only images, and there are only 9 of them. Coloring will be performed with the help of the well-known Paint application provided by Windows by default. Therefore, once a picture is chosen to be colored, it will be opened in Paint, and coloring can be done using Paint’s tools (mostly with “Bucket”). Anyway, the small number of images that it provides and the fact that it makes use of the Paint application are not the only downsides of this application. The music, though being cheerful and suitable for kids, cannot be stopped, muted, paused or disabled and can get quite annoying, especially since it’s played by default at the highest volume and it can be turned lower.

In my opinion, this application is disappointing. It is basically only a pack of 9 black-and-white images that can be colored by kids. The only good thing about it is that it’s free.
