A Gypsy's Tale: The Tower of Secrets is a hidden object game full of tasks to accomplish. The story of the game is quite simple: Reylin of Winderalth, a gypsy, is hired by a monk to rescue his friend trapped in the Tower of Secrets. You play as Reylin; investigate the mysterious maze surrounding the tower, avoid the foul spirit and the beast guarding the tower, and break the wicked curse.
Of course, objects search is present in the game, but it is not the customary list of items. You will have to find objects by its image to get implements that will help you to fulfill various tasks while exploring the maze, fix a fountain, or plant a garden, for example. Also you will need to solve puzzles to open new locations. Don't forget to gather crystals; when all the crystals of a location are found, you get a piece of the maze map, allowing you to go right to this location without passing the others. The Help button will always tell you what to do if you get stuck, as well as the Hint button, but it will be unavailable for some time after you use it.
The game has nice scenes, however some of them are too dark, and this may cause difficulties when searching objects. The music is also okay, but some sound effects, like animals' voices, may irritate you if you investigate the location for a while.
