Design circuit schemes and analyze them at a component level. Includes an extendable library of Spice/PSpice® sub-circuits.
5Spice Analysis 1.50 is a program to build circuit schemes, to perform analysis and simulation.
The program provides Spice specific schematic entry and has therefore the ability to define and save an unlimited number of analyses and integrated graphing of simulation results.
It´s possible to include Spice/PSpice® subcircuits from the user expandable library.
The main goal of the program is the design and analysis of analog circuits at the component level.
In the main window of the program, you can enter ready-made electronic components by choosing them from the right toolbar. You can drag the desired components and drop them onto the drawing board. You can then move them, change their parameters and values, rotate or mirror them, till you´re pleased with the result. You will also be able to include text notes under the "Notes" tab.
Once your circuit is built, you can run it pressing F9 or going to "Analyze/Run". The program will simulate the work of the circuit, and will generate an analysis, and a report of values and frequencies.
v2.10 [Feb 6, 2013]
- Important - a debugging tool has uncovered several subtle issues that could cause the program to fail intermittently. not heard about these issues from users but fixed them to make the program more stable.
- fix bug - when analysis using a plot equation in a graph may cause program fault on repeated simulation. bug depends on the equation syntax.
- Archive Projects and the Project Manager
- fix bug where reloaded archive project would get WinSpice error on simulation.
- improve user interface for archiving and de-archiviing projects.
- add confirmations for user actions working with models and the Library.
- DC Bias table of values
- fix table showing at wrong tab position when schematic has more than one page.
- fix table showing "Warning Node voltages may have changed" when analysis
- creating Subckt Schematic
- creating NodeList for simulation
- add error message about unconnected XportLinks.
- clarify existing error messages.
- configuring a graph at start of simulation
- Range check error if TestPoint name plotted in graph starts with 3 letters and has more than a single digit at the end.
- loading a version 1.xx schematic. fix: polar capacitor symbol is misaligned
- Project Manager, Spice Models page
- disable model reload, delete and save buttons when function is not available.
- main menu TOOLS: add Highlight Net menu item.
