4Videosoft WMV Video Converter for Mac is a commercial video converter. This app can be used to convert video files into the WMV, H.264 and WebM formats. This is perhaps one of the converters by 4Videosoft I have tried that have the most limited output format support. This converter was designed so that you can convert your video files into videos that will play on your Xbox 360, Windows phone, and other multimedia playback devices that rely on the WMV format. If you want to convert your files so that you can play them on your Xbox, 4Videosoft has another converter, dedicated to the conversion of files for the 360, with tons of conversion profiles and better format support.
Graphically, this converter looks like all the other converters by 4Videosoft, and it uses a very basic graphical user interface that is responsive and very intuitive. When you launch it, you will see on-screen instructions on how to use it, too.
In terms of performance, 4Videosoft WMV Video Converter for Mac performed quite well in my tests. I used an HD, MKV file (720p), which was almost a minute long. I converted it into the default WMV profile. The whole process took a little under a minute to complete, which is fast enough for me. The results were good.
