4Videosoft BlackBerry Converter Suite for Mac is a mix of two apps. There is a video converter and a DVD ripper. Both applications are designed to let you convert content so that you can watch it on BlackBerry devices. For both apps, the supported output formats are: MP4, WMV, AVI and 3GP. There are conversion profiles for lots of different Blackberry models, including the Storm, Bold and 8800, among others.
Graphically, the two apps in this suite look different, but that they behave pretty much the same. They both share the same profiles, and they both have a video editor that allows you to trim or crop your videos and adjust their brightness, contrast and saturation. There is on-screen help that guides you through the process, too.
In my testing, I converted an MKV file into one of the Storm profiles. The process was really quick for a 30-second clip, and the resulting file played great on VLC on my Mac. The quality of the file wasn't great, but that was expected since most Blackberry's have small screens. They should look fine on them.
In short, if you want a commercial converter and a ripper, getting them in this suite will be cheaper.
