4Media iPhone Max is a complete iPhone management tool. It can be used to copy your music, videos, pictures, ringtones, and eBooks from your iPhone to your Mac and the other way around. Thus, it becomes a nice alternative to iTunes. The app comes with a video converter that can be used to automatically convert videos that are not compatible with the iPhone. Also, there is a DVD ripper that lets you copy your movies to your device quite easily.
When you run 4Media iPhone Max, you will see the summary of your device. The information displayed includes the iPhone model and serial number, its capacity and free space. Also there is a nice bar that shows how much space is used for audio, video, photos, and books.
On the left pane, you will see all the available data categories (music, movies, photos, and ringtones), and buttons for the "extras", the DVD ripper and video converter.
In my testing, I downloaded some songs from my iPhone to my Mac and then did the opposite; I copied a couple of songs to the device. I found that the process was easy and everything worked fine. If you want to copy videos, and they are not supported, the application takes care of the video conversion automatically.
