4Media iPhone Contacts Transfer is a simple iOS backup utility. It can be used to transfer your contacts from your phone to your Mac for safekeeping. It can also transfer SMS messages. When you launch the app with a supported device connected, it will display an image of your device, its name, type and serial number. All connected devices will be listed on the left part of the screen and under each device, you will see two buttons that take you to your contacts and messages. Next to the Contacts button, you will see the number of contacts stored on your device in between parentheses. The application can be used to export contacts or messages from iTunes' backup files as well.
To transfer a contact or message, all you need to do is check the box next to it, and select one of the transfer options. Contacts can be exported to your Mac or you can import them to your device. CSV files or vCard files are supported.
If your contacts have pictures attached to them, you can save it to your Mac as well by clicking on it and selecting where you want to save it.
In short, this is a nice utility for those who want to export their contacts or messages to the Mac or import contact information to their iPhones without using iTunes.
