4Easysoft Mac MP4 to AVI Converter is a commercial video converter. It can only open MP4 files, which it can convert to either AVI or MPG files for video or AAC, AC3, MP3, M4A, MP2, and WAV files for audio. The app comes with quite a few different conversion profiles, for many devices, including the PSP, PS3, XBOX 360, Wii, mobile phones, and other multimedia playback devices.
Like all the other 4Easysoft converters for Mac, this one has a very simple graphical user interface. It displays your conversion queue, a video player, a toolbar, and a few drop-down menus where you can choose your formats and other conversion settings.
There is a video editor that allows you to trim and crop your videos and adjust their brightness, contrast and saturation.
There isn't much to be said about this converter. It does work well. It opened all the MP4 files that I threw at it and the conversion process was fast, with the resulting files looking very similar to the originals. I always recommend that you try free alternatives before purchasing a single-format video converter.
