3herosoft DVD to MP4 Converter is a DVD ripper. It allows you to convert your DVD movies into files encoded using quite a few different codecs. The supported output formats are H.264, MPEG-4, AVI, TS, AAC, and MP3. This ripper doesn't have as many video editing features as other rippers of this kind. In fact, you can only trim a DVD title. The app comes with a ton of conversion profiles for devices like the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, iRiver PMP-100, Archos AV500, and a few more.
The graphical user interface looks good and it is original. At the bottom, you will find a toolbar, on the right there are the conversion settings, and right in the middle there is a space where the DVD titles that make up your DVD movie will be listed.
3herosoft DVD to MP4 Converter lets you choose the audio and subtitle tracks that you want to keep from a drop-down menu. You can also spit the files into a variety of pre-configured sizes.
In my testing, I didn't have any problems with this ripper. I converted a short DVD title into H.264 and the file looked good.
It should be noted that this app hasn't been updated in a while. According to the about window, it was last updated in 2009.
