1AVStreamer is a video and audio streaming solution. It doesn't stream just about any video or audio file you might have in your computer. Instead, it can stream your PC desktop to the Internet. The application can either publish your desktop screen video to an FTP server or broadcast it live over the Internet.
When you first launch the application, it will list all the tasks that it can carry out. In my testing, I selected "Broadcast PC desktop without audio live on the Internet". When I started the broadcast, the application gave me an URL for the stream. In that URL it used my Internet IP address, which is a nice touch. Of course, you will need to forward the default port (8070) so that the broadcast is available for users outside your network. I tried it inside my network and the URL launched a Windows Media Player that started buffering and then playing the video. It didn't have the best resolution, but the feed was very stable and it didn't have much lag. When you use this application, everything you do on your screen will show on the video, unless you select only an area of the screen to broadcast and not your entire screen.
All in all, 1AVStreamer looks like a nice app to screencast. It supports both video and audio and it can even upload JPEG screenshots of your screen to the NET. The price is a little too steep, but the trial version allows you to fully test the app before you have to purchase it.
