18 Wheels of Steel: American Long Haul is a wonderful game of the series in which you are the owner of a trucking business and you must haul cargo between 48 U.S.states, Canada and Mexico. Your goal is to make money, dominate the roads and eliminate the competition. You transport more than 45 cargo types including mobile homes, chemicals, livestock, etc. You must do everything in your company, from hiring the drivers, select the the trucks and trailers, and of course maintain them in perfect conditions as well as managing the fuel. The game features excellent graphics and sounds, not very different from previous editions, but better. A thing I didn't like is the limited exterior truck customization available, since there are only 3 or 4 paintworks per truck, and only a few trucks can have exhaust pipes, larger horns front bumpers or extra lights added. Another thing is that there are only a few drivable roads in towns, which is really unrealistic. However, the game has many other awesome things to offer and I'm sure that driving simulation lovers are going to enjoy it very much.
