1-Click Duplicate Delete for Outlook is a nice Outlook utility created by ITSTH. As 1-Click Duplicate Delete for Files, this program does only one thing: deletes duplicates. The difference is that this time it is just made for Outlook. Once you install the plug-in, you get a nice helper utility where you can re-install, remove and find help about the plug-in. Once you open Outlook you will notice the new buttons dedicated to the application. As with other ITSTH applications, the options available are enough to customize the scanning to your own purposes.
1-Click Duplicate Delete will remove any duplicate message, contact, task or calendar reminder that it could find in Outlook. You can select only one type of entry for scanning.
The program also scans PST files. It also includes a very handy "undo" feature which allows you to roll back, in case the duplicates, where they are not supposed to be, are merged.
However, at a price of $39.95 for the license, this small software seems very expensive. But it is particularly useful if you synchronize between computers or handle a large number of emails from the same group.
