v7.0 [Jan 29, 2011]
Instead of having to pick your game, number of players and time limit every time you start a new game, you can now save this into a table. Then you can easily start such a table from the list of favorite tables. You now end your turn by simply clicking inside the stock area (like you always could). There is no more red arrow or green checkmark to end your turn.
In games with a discard pile, of course you still end your turn by playing a card to the discard pile.
You can still add player names but they are strictly for your own use. You cannot play online with aliases any more.
Games against the computer are now saved automatically. But there can be only one saved game per player name.
You can only trade duplicate cards at the very start of your turn, before you play anything else. And you cannot undo the trading any more.
You can now zoom in and out to get bigger tiles or cards, or to get more space.
If the table becomes too crowded, it zooms out automatically instead of showing scroll bars.
In order to play online, you now need an online account (free for owners of the old Rummi).
You can now join an online table that is already playing and start playing when the next game starts.
If you play in a competition, you have to pick the competition before you add or join a table. The competition isn't chosen automatically any more, so you have full control now.
The game rule editor window, where you set up your own games, has been redesigned, with many new game rule options.
You can already pick up your cards during the other player's turn, so you can play them onto the table right away when it's your turn.
There are more handy undo and redo options, like undo to the last valid table, or undo all your moves at once.
The new automatic playing level adapts the computer's playing strength to your results, so it will always be a fair challenge.
In competitions, you will never loose your golden stars any more.
